REGISTRATION

As part of its Energy Transition and Environment (ETE) area, the Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) renews its collaboration with the Regione del Veneto to organize the Forum Acquisti Verdi Veneto, now in its 10th Edition.

The Forum serves as the regional benchmark event dedicated to Green Public Procurement (GPP). The initiative brings together institutions, businesses, and civil society to promote more sustainable production and consumption models while supporting operators in implementing Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM).

The 2026 edition opened on Thursday, October 8, at the Auditorium “Cesare De Michelis” of M9 – Museo del ’900 (Via Giovanni Pascoli 11, Venice Mestre), running from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (registration from 9:00 AM).

The day opened with an in-depth session dedicated to Green Public Procurement, starting with a study by the University of Padova on the impact of GPP policies on suppliers, followed by the 9th Report of the Green Procurement Observatory by Fondazione Ecosistemi. The morning session also provided an opportunity to review past editions through the presentation of the Yearbook, concluding with the “Compraverde Veneto Imprese 2026” award ceremony honoring applicant businesses and contracting authorities.

The training seminar, scheduled for the afternoon session and tailored for industry professionals, will explore several key areas of CAM application, featuring dedicated presentations on construction and historical heritage, the relationship between restoration, craftsmanship, and sustainability, biodiversity and public green space maintenance, waste management and the circular economy, as well as sustainable events.

The program is designed to offer public administrations, technicians, professionals, and businesses not only an update on the regulatory framework, but also practical examples, insights, and tools to translate environmental criteria into procedures, projects, and services.
