Eventi > Forum Acquisti Verdi Veneto – 9th Edition

Once again this year, VSF – within its Energy Transition and Environment (ETE) thematic area – is collaborating with the Veneto Region to organize the Veneto Green Procurement Forum (Forum Acquisti Verdi Veneto).

The 2025 edition features a renewed format: no longer a single meeting, but a series of events dedicated to policies, projects, goods, and services for Green Public Procurement (GPP). The forum brings together key stakeholders involved in procuring sustainable goods and services and in the ecological transformation of production and consumption patterns, fostering dialogue and connections among institutions, businesses, and organized civil society.

Now in its ninth edition, the forum aims to promote a widespread culture of green procurement, serve as a platform for exchanging best practices, and connect supply and demand for environmentally friendly goods and services.

The initiative will launch with an opening event on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 – supported by Fondazione di Venezia – at the “Cesare De Michelis” Auditorium of the M9 - Museo del '900 (Via Giovanni Pascoli 11, Venice Mestre), running from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (registration opens at 9:00 AM).

The day will open with the awards ceremony for businesses and contracting authorities that applied for the 2025 "Compraverde Veneto" award. Drivers of change will share the achievements of nine years of Forum-led initiatives: several past award winners among businesses and contracting authorities will present how their daily commitment to sustainability continues to evolve.

In the afternoon, a training session will focus on GPP topics and green innovations, with an emphasis on CAM (Minimum Environmental Criteria) and key projects under the Regional Action Plan on GPP. This session is designed to highlight recent updates on CAM regulations that entered into force in 2025, specifically: the CAM for Roads (approved by Ministerial Decree on August 5, 2024), the CAM for Energy Services (approved by Ministerial Decree on August 12, 2024), and the CAM for Events (approved by Ministerial Decree on October 19, 2022).

By leveraging the cross-cutting nature of GPP, the seminar aims to trigger lasting change that aligns across regional policies and resonates in the actions of local authorities – consistently prioritizing the integration of environmental and social criteria into public procurement procedures, regional planning tools, and the overarching culture and conduct within public administration.

The event will also offer company members of trade associations and professional bodies (architects and engineers) the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.

The series of meetings will continue with additional local stages dedicated to the same themes:

  • September 19: Vicenza, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Palazzo Thiene Bonin Longare, headquarters of Confindustria Vicenza
  • October 8: Belluno, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Villa Doglioni Dalmas, headquarters of Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti
