On October 23 and 24, Venice hosted the 4th edition of the Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum, an event dedicated to the sustainable transition of the fashion supply chain. “Harmonizing Values” served as the initiative's title and central theme, exploring the need to align regulations, values, and processes to foster a more responsible and globally competitive supply chain. Promoted and organized by TEHA Group, Confindustria Moda, and Confindustria Veneto Est, with the support of numerous industry partners, the Forum received the patronage of VSF and was included in the side events program of the Sustainability Biennale 2025.
The objective of the 2025 edition was to pool the priorities of brands and businesses, translating them into shared rules and processes to enhance the production model of Made in Italy and Made in Europe. The program featured contributions from institutional representatives, experts, and key supply chain players, who addressed themes of transparency, traceability, and competitiveness. Discussions also covered the broader implications of the transition for production, revenue, and competitiveness, alongside best practices and operational perspectives.
In an ecosystem where the Italian fashion and luxury industry generates turnover of approximately €100 billion and employs over 500,000 people, the Forum stood out as a key benchmark for mapping a transformation path grounded in scientific, measurable evidence. During the event, the strategic study “Just Fashion Transition 2025” was also presented, focusing on sustainability as a catalyst for growth.
