On the morning of June 3, Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF), a legacy partner of Venice Climate Week 2025, launched the event series by hosting an opening session at the Foundation's headquarters in the Procuratie Vecchie in St. Mark's Square.
Organized in collaboration with the Future Food Institute and the Associazione Amore per il Sapere, the program began with an intensive day of training and structured philosophical debate, spotlighting Venice as a global laboratory for resilience and sustainable innovation.
The morning centered on a delegation of twenty young changemakers, including high school and university students, who debated a provocative and timely motion: "Is the ecological transition a barrier to business development and competitiveness?" VSF Director General Alessandro Costa served on the judging panel.
