Yesterday, the “Hospitality License – Lands of Asolo and Monte Grappa” (Patentino dell’Ospitalità – Terre di Asolo e Monte Grappa) training program concluded at the Asolo Golf Club with the final conference, “The Role of the Community in Developing Tourism Strategies.”
Among the speakers, VSF Project Manager Damiano De Marchi delivered a presentation titled “Smart and Sustainable Tourism: Lessons from Venice,” introducing the Foundation and its initiatives to institutions and operators working across sports, food and wine, and cultural tourism. The event also featured contributions from Simone Rech, Vice President of IPA Terre di Asolo e Monte Grappa, and Giulia Casagrande, President of Fondazione DMO Marca Treviso.
Organized by Ascom-Confcommercio Treviso in collaboration with Twissen and SL&A Turismo e Territorio – Benefit Corporation, with support from the Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce, the training initiative aimed to enhance local tourism skills, awareness, and regional networks while promoting hospitality culture and service quality. Participants were awarded the Hospitality License (Patentino dell’Ospitalità), and several venues were officially designated as Infopoints – an accreditation enabling local operators to join Veneto’s regional network for widespread tourist information and reception.
