“We welcomed the proposal to include the Tiramisù World Cup among the side events of the Sustainability Biennale 2025 Urbs et Civitas, in line with VSF’s mission focused on integrated sustainability across its four dimensions—environmental, economic, social, and cultural.” These were the words of VSF Director General Alessandro Costa when discussing the start of a collaboration that represents a new step toward building an integrated regional model of sustainability to benefit the entire regional system.
In preparation for the upcoming edition, the Foundation will launch a technical advisory program aimed at supporting the Tiramisù World Cup organization in structuring an event that complies with international sustainability standards.
The popular culinary competition in the Veneto region is dedicated to non-professionals who compete to make their best tiramisù. Stages of the competition are held annually in various locations across Italy and abroad, but the Grand Final always takes place in Treviso. This year’s event will run from October 10 to 12, crowning the Tiramisù World Champion and the Creative Tiramisù World Champion from among 240 competitors representing nations around the world.
