News > Youth and the Environment: VSF Partners in the "Gocce di Futuro" Final Event

Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) is a partner of "Gocce di Futuro" ("Drops of Future"), a civic and environmental education initiative promoted by Fondazione di Venezia, with technical support from WeSchool and scientific guidance from Environment Park.

The project involves over 300 lower secondary school students from the Province of Venice and encourages them to address the challenges of climate change and sustainable water resource management. During the final event, titled "Abitare il Cambiamento. Gocce di futuro: un progetto tra ambiente, scuola e territorio" ("Inhabiting Change. Drops of Future: A Project Connecting Environment, School, and Community"), to be held on May 26 at The Home of The Human Safety Net in the Procuratie Vecchie in St. Mark's Square, the three finalist classes will present their projects and receive awards including:

  • Customized educational workshops designed to foster active citizenship and environmental project development skills.

  • A guided tour of the interactive exhibition "A World of Potential" at The Home of The Human Safety Net, encouraging students to explore their personal strengths and turn them into positive community impact.

The event falls under VSF's Social Inclusion thematic area, which promotes tangible opportunities for all citizens, ensures access to essential services, fosters active civic engagement, and addresses inequalities. Through synergies among institutions, non-profit organizations, and academic communities, VSF helps build an inclusive support network where young people and families can grow together while recognizing their vital role in society.
